Finally, I figured out to download the Freegate program so I can see this blog and the comments. Okay, I'm not saying people in China should be doing illegal things, but blocking all blogspot.com blogs is ridiculous. I only want to post about tea. And now I can, restriction free.

More updates to Chadao coming soon...Warrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11864305536434125111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16115542.post-20181560271160798082008-05-07T14:33:00.000-04:002008-05-07T14:33:00.000-04:00Dear Warren, Thank you for the list, I'll print i...Dear Warren,

Thank you for the list, I'll print it out! I've visited the famous Laoshe teahouse - it is a typical stop for most visiting dignitaries (to which the photographs on the walls attest), but it is a bit of a theme park. Worth seeing, but keep expectations low.

My favourite, which is "the real thing", is the Kongzi Chalou [Confucious Teahouse], opposite Yonghegong [Lama Temple]. Great stuff: nice tea, nice surroundings, knowledgeable and classical staff, weiqi/Go.

Toodlepip,

HobbesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
